Take it away! He's haunting meeee!
Ooooooh, your guest annex is *lovely!* So bright and cheerful!
I wanna have lunch! :)
Corky can spear me with his horn anytime!
LOVE the icon *giggleS*
And that fish taco looks soooo yummyful
Maybe it's just me but fish doesn't belong ANYWHERE near the word taco. hahaha
My family enjoys them though.
since you started it... you mispelled Corky too. =Þ
and tortillas...she forgot the second 't'. woopsie!!!
This is one of the few movies I'll bother going to the cinema to see. Pity they didn't use more of the TMBG's songs that were created for it!
D= I am busy this weekend, but go to the Marine Grill in North Van. It's hard to find but it's AWESOME.
Dirty euphemisms are the highest form of wit.
I love your new Corky icon :)

What! Tilapia is like...a national fish of the Philippines or something D: If you know what to do with it, it's gorgeous. I'm going to try this recipe too. :D
I think a COOKBOOK in the form of a comic would be oh so awesome. That fishy taco looks and sounds sooooo yummilicious!
Yes. Yes it would be awesome. You should do this! Immediately!
1. I've just gotta ask; how is your name pronounced Lucy? It's been bugging me for a while. ( that is to say, your last name )
2. I will most certainly try this fish taco recipe, perhaps this weekend. It seems great, thanks for sharing.
3. WHAT JOHN LINNEL WHAT I KNEW I HAD TO SEE THIS MOVIE BEFORE BUT HOLY CRAP!!!
tilapia is great if you know how to cook it. :) i should know, i have it every week. (i live in the philippines) :D
I'm in Washington state this weekend and indefinitely.
I did the math and it appears that Vancouver is a four hour drive away.
If I find some cash money within the next 1-2 business days, I would be down.
yes...we must all follow the magic narwhal userpic filled with floaty-goodness. ^__^
Oh gosh! John Linnell! SWOOOOOOOOOOON
(I gots me some fishies in the freezer too. I should try this)
I made fish tacos for my family once, and they all grumbled about it. They just will not accept Mexican food without large quantities of beef, cheese and carbs.
Come to think of it, I think they actually made me saute some ground beef with pre-packaged taco seasonings that night, against my will. *shudder*
You're lucky to grow up in a family of foodies Lucy. Much more fun than growing up as a foodie black sheep.
I'm excited for Coraline too! My fiance actually introduced it (the book) to me when we first met, a very long 6 years ago. He made me read that, and then he made me watch Amelie, and then he made me listen to Ben Kweller, and then we were in LUUUUUUURVE FOREVER.
DELICIOUS. You should always cook me dinner! Seriously, Lucy, a comic book cook book by you would be amazing. It seems like a great medium for the steps involved in recipes.
The Coraline book was so amazing. I was worried when I saw the art style of the movie didn't look too similar to Dave Mckean's art for the book, but I think it is a pretty hard style to match. I'm really excited about the movie.
When you said avocado and crema fresca it all came together for me.
Thanks you for feeding me with your comics.
I like how your stuff is really cartoony but detailed at the same time. Especially your hands. I gotta figure out how to do that.
Also, great icon! Needs some snowflakes I think.
I'm soooo making those tilapia tacos!! I had some awesome garlic tilapia on Monday night, courtesy of ME, cuz Im AWESOME like that. Yeah.
In real life, I'm the only one I know who's excited about Coraline. And I'd forgotten about TMBG being in it, so, now more excited. And Corky... your coolness factor increases all the time.
Feed me. Those tacos sound delicious.
I have to admit I'm pretty psyched to see this movie. Also: when I worked at a paper store last year somebody from Laika came in and bought a pack of Eames Architecture white paper to use for the leaves on the trees in this movie. (This reinforced my belief that it pays to be overly friendly and curious when you work in customer service.)
i always misspell avocado! wtf, english language? awesome recipe and awesome apartment. have you ever thought about doing a coloring tutorial? have you already done one that i've missed? sorry this comment is all over the place!
1. I love, love, LOVE Stop=motion & cannot WAIT for Coraline! (I've been drooling over still pics for over a year)
2. Yes, you should keep doing recipes in comic for.
3. I will be in Vancouver this weekend, how long you gonna be in town for?
I have all the ingredients 'cept balsamic, ran out of that weeks ago.
I cook in parcels quite often (usually foil) Top Tip no 39: Anything cooked in a packet with cream, white wine and garlic tastes, well, good.
LOL! Great userpic!
Man...comics + recipe...BRILLIANT. O_O I want to try this some time...
I'm in Vancouver, BC! May I please come have lunch with you, wherever you have lunch?
*dead faint from excitement/hope*
Corky. God he floats so menacingly!
I am deeply enchanted by Corky the Winter Narwhal, not least because I only just became aware the other day of the whole internet narwhal thing
: IS THAT NOT THE RADDEST SHIT YOU HAVE SEEN ALL DAY
In other news, I am more and more flaily about the awesomeness of Coraline
with every ad I see. WOW. John Linnell, even! \o/
I LOVE your new icon and now I want some fish tacos!
didn't you burn your hands taking the pan out of the oven?
This has made me insanely hungry!
And I totally see your point about Coraline....freekylicensed conveyancers
