No hourlies to post tonight, alas, because I fell behind and just rough-penciled the last four hours, but I'm too sleeeeepy to do them right now. I'll finish them up right-quick tomorrow and then post them.
So-ree.

But here is another comic I made last week that I colored yesterday.
I was saving it for just such a consolation prize.

I am totally fascinated with crap movies on TV. Usually they help me work because the background noise is a nice mind-aid, but sometimes they are so ridiculously, amazingly, OUT OF CONTROL WEIRD AND STUPID that I get totally distracted and have to watch it.

And then I usually cry, because I cry at the merest hint of sentimentality in what could very well be any cotton commercial or game show, but is, in this case, an ugly, weird, computer-animated movie about dinosaurs.

I watched Land Before Time recently and I cried all over the place! Damn little baby dinosaurs.

Ah, man, I love Land Before Time. It's the sequels that make me want to kill things. There are, I think, eight of them. And they all play on HBO Family when I get up in the morning and need to be shooed by bad-TV out of the house.

That is a really sad movie! And it's pretty much some of the most emotive drawn animation ever created, because it is done by the man himself, DON BLUTH, KING OF LUCY'S TEARS AND JOY. I cry at EVERY ONE of his animations. Because he is awesome.
Guhhhh Petrie.
