You'll never get good vertebrovertebral ligamentous transection that way. Think about upgrading to a machete.

Re: Using a cricket bat?
I think the cricket bat is for breaking the skull, rather than decapitating.
Fell asleep in a public park ? What kind of weather are you having, in Chicago ?
Brief, momentary periods of slight warmth!
I hope you don't get caught on your crime spree.
Not for your safety but for the safety of any criminals with the misfortune to be locked away with you.
I just finished reading French Milk that I got from my library and I loved it. Now I'm off to buy my copy to keep. I also want to lend it to a friend who I think will enjoy it and should do her own drawing day journal. What pens and book would you reccomend?
"Not terribly impressed" is probably on the high end of reactions to eating White Castle, in my experience.
Yeah. White Castle has only very rarely been a positive experience in my adult life, though I used to love it as a kid. Something about all those tiny burgers...
Are you planning on doing prints of your portraits? I got a print of an artists' (her name has slipped my mind at the moment. :P) rendition of Sean of the Dead while I was at Comic Con and I'm beginning to think I should collect them. They are all awesome!
funfact; Edgar Wright was born in Poole, England. Where I live! HOORAY!
I'm done gloating now, sorry.
(your portraits are to DIE for!)
Shaun of the deaaad!
Better artwork than the exclusive comic strip that was in 2000AD (explaining how the checkout girl got from the supermarket to thier garden, and zombified) a week or so before the film came out, that looked very rushed.
Yeah, Frazer Irving's done far better than his SotD strip.
Oh, and love the art! Yay!!!!
(sorry, lost mah mind over your Shaun of the Dead pic!)

Love the Dead poster. Awesomeeee! I took a Zombie intensive course at Columbia last year. If you're ever bored and need to take an awesome post-bacc class, that is it.
I'm super excited to see the rest of your celeb portraits! I can't remember the last thing I drew that wasn't celebrity related, though they've gotten more and more silly the last few years. Beginning with my beloved Buscemi drawing: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2010/2118467151_c80c1078f8_b.jpg
Are all of my comments to you from now on going to be forcing you to view random photos? Maybe the pink dolphin will be next. ;)
These all look like perfectly awesome things to do, actually. Hope it continues!
Amazing Shaun of the Dead drawing! You's my new hero!
OMG OMG OMG SHAUUUUUUUN. ♥
Did you try some Chicken Rings at white castle? Because they are the bomb diggity.
That's right. It's 2009 and I'm white and I still felt it appropriate to say "bomb diggity". That's how good they are.
Man, now I want white castle.

Shaun of the Dead is one of those classic films deserving of space on anyone's DVD shelf, and I love your portrait of it. :) In fact loving all your stuff. Well done!
Incidentally, "I come from a land Down Under" so you can see how far your...err... fame is reaching. :)
I saw Hot Fuzz for the first time a few days ago and the urge to rewatch Shaun of the Dead (and share it with my mother) has been so strong. This is clearly a sign that I should get on with that.
White Castle is poison. It shouldn't even be salable. That said, I love it!
uh. that Shaun Of The Dead painting punched me in the gut with its
22 portraits? did I miss some?
No, I've only posted two, because I'm going to DROP THEM LIKE A CRAZY ART BOMB, one of these days.
Awesome!!! Shaun of the Dead is one of my favorite movies ever (next to Hot Fuzz!)
Will you ever have prints of your watercolors for sale?
love this post. the third panel! hahaha!
are you posting all your portraits somewhere, or just showing a few? i wanna see the rest if they're posted somewhere :D
