What does this even mean? Friday night post!
Interior and exterior shots from extras in the Drawn to You book, by me and Erika Moen. We also have an amazing portrait/ad by Dylan Meconis, and a comic collaboration between John and Matt! Oh, this book is gonna be niiiice.
Bed now. What a week! So much worrrk. Tomorrow I will sleep ALLL DAYYY. But not really because I have MORE WORK. Ugh. |

Thanks! That woulda totally make my YEAR. I NEVERRR get recognized.
One time I was at the BW and this guy came up to me and started telling me stories about how he once saw someone blow off his own hand with a firework. Then I had to walk home on the fourth of July. I love that place, in part because of the awful stories I hear sometimes.
And when you work there, you get to be in some of the stories. Which isn't always good.
And cartoonists always get special treatment there-- at least when I'm working. | |
