You must sell these online, because I wont be able to get to any shows to buy them. Oh and you make the best faces when you get your picture taken
dang another reason to be annoyed I'm missing stumptown this year, o well I'll have to grab one at MoCCA.
I definitely need one of these for my new apartment & sexy girlfriend.
xD i want to see a close up that poster so bad, lol
WANT. POSTER.
nau soon plz? One day I won't have exams and I will go to Stumptown...one day (2010, actually)
That looks excellent and the photo suits it perfectly.
I've been trying to address my pile of unanswered emails. This is such a weird and awful habit of mine-- I get all flustered when I get a nice email from a stranger, and then I put it in a file to be answered when I am less flustered and at a loss as to how to adequately respond, and then the whole file of emails grows to such quantities that I'm too intimidated to even open the damn thing and the guilt makes me need to eat some jam and hug the cat. Still, I'm working on it! -- I DO THIS TOO!

I went to order a copy of French Milk yesterday. The one bookshop whose internyets site said they had it, was closed. The other didn't even have it on their computamer.
Where are you going to be talking in NYC? Can I come!!
I'm doing a talk at FIT for their writing club, and I'm going to speak at a class there. I think it's supposed to be for students, but I doubt very much that a university would turn anyone away from a school-sponsored event. Storm the gates, if you wanna! http://fitwords.blogspot.com/2009/04/lucy-knisley-live.html
About a year and a half ago, I made a resolution to take at least one picture every single day. It's been going pretty well. It makes it a lot easier to remember what's gone on in the past year and a half or so.
I've been wanting to write you a letter telling you how much I appreciate your online journal, but I figured you would have said-pile of backlogged emails...
I just wanted to tell you what an inspiration you've been even though I've only just recently discovered your work, and we do slightly different things (both in comics, both taking slice-of-life moments, you just do it better!)
Thanks so much. :)
I'm not going to any fancy shmancy conventions, but I will totally buy one of those prints if you sell it on Etsy. :D

will you be appearing in Portland? When/where?
See you at Stumptown, it looks as thougn I might be there this year.
Please have them up for internet purchasing soon! I simply can't make it to any of the comicons this year.
Hi Lucy! I have been following your work on Google Reader, but thought I would add you as a friend on livejournal since sometimes I check that more often. I wanted to let you know, because even though I'm sure you have tons of people who add you just because they are fans, I think it's polite to let you know why a random girl is adding you :) I love your art, thanks for sharing!
I hope you are enjoying Stumptown! I just bought French Milk today and I really enjoyed it!
I saw you and John at Stumptown today! It made me quite giddy. :D I wish I could have bought everything at your table, but I'm enjoying the copy of Drawn To You that I picked up.
Ei Lucy I gave John my login username for my flickr page instead of my actual flickr account name. Here's the set photo set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/blackbookalpha/sets/72157617017735306/Good to see you and John in person. I was more interested to meet you two along with Erika and Matt than the special guests at the event haha. Thanks a million :D
Ooh thank you! These look great! It was really nice meeting you today-- thanks for stopping by!

Hi Lucy, love your comics! I showed your Alinea comic to the owner of Alinea through Twitter, and he really liked (which I thought was pretty neat). That is all.
