| New Halloween Repeat Pattern Thingie |
[Sep. 17th, 2009|04:49 pm] |
Just for funzies, I made a little repeat pattern, entitled "The House Where No-One Trick-Or-Treats."

Now it's up for a contest, possibly to be made into a neat fabric on the delightful website, Spoonflower.com.
So if you like it, and you might consider buying it as a fabric for your tablecloth, bedspread, cushion or what have you, please, won't you....
Vote for it!
(Please vote! I'm up against a lotta super nice fabric designs.)

Also, in case you missed the broadcast, you can now download the interview I did with Erika Moen on the Words and Pictures KBOO radio station, right here! |

Gosh, I have a new desktop background now! Thanks!
That's excellent! I'll have to go vote on it!
Is it hard to do a tiling pattern like this, or the one on your LJ? It looks so complex. 0_0
Wow, there's some awesome prints there this week! Glad we get two votes! But I still voted for yours first. =)
I want to play Paperboy on it. ._.
Also known as: "Guess Which House *I'd* Like to Live In?"
(grins) Nice one. Also - voted. :)
Ironically, the people in the big house have the best candy.
It's the turquoise house with the basketball hoop, right? Those people are jerks.
We should TP their yard.
Lucy, you might want to mention that you don't have to register/sign up to vote in this contest - it's awesome when you get to vote for stuff and don't have to give away your e-mail address/wait for a confirmation e-mail/get spam! :D
Voted! That site is pretty cool.
Hey. That is really nice!
I love that. Now I have that excited Hallowe'en feeling again!
Whenever you make these awesome repeat patterns, I want to beg you to teach me. :)
Except that I'm not in Chicago anymore! I moved to Asia for a year. If you find yourself in Seoul and want someone to show you around, I'd be delighted.

Hey Lucy- if you do get some fabric printed of that you and I could totally do some sewn collaborations for the craft fair in december! Y'know, little bags, etc. Let me know if you're interested- I think it would be super fun!

Hey! I just got a bunch of sample pieces of my fabrics-- want 'em? We can share profits from stuff you make with them and sell at the show. Meanwhile, I'll send these to you and you can pick ones that you like best and I'll get more made, if you wanna. I think I want one for my bag! Just email me your mailing address and I'll send on the goods. | |
