Kickstarter Comic Project, you guys! Heartbroken at Hogwarts Lot's of collaborative projects in the works at the studio right now, as detailed in our Studio Blog. I'm doing a few themed prints to benefit our adventures. I decided, a while ago, that I wanted to do this series of seven prints, somewhat like my Twilight comic. It's a cool challenge, as SO MUCH HAPPENS in the Harry Potter books, and I'm trying to squeeze everything onto one page. As you can see in the very small previews below! (SPOILER ALERT) These will be on sale to benefit the HHH Project as soon as they're all finished (I did this so I can offer discounts if you buy the whole series). I have no idea when that will be, as I'm doing them in my "free time." Which is laughable. COMICSSSS!

One completely anal-retentive question... is the kitty with Hermione in the top left of the book 1 comic supposed to be Crookshanks? 'Cos I think she doesn't get him 'til book 3.

1. They don't EXPLICITELY SAY anything about any particular books on them.

2. All the proceeds will funnel directly into the trip to Wizarding World of Harry Potter, sooo... I'm basically working for them.

But yes, it's a little tricky.

OMG THESE ARE FREAKIN AMAZING! I am soooo buying them all when you're all finished xD. Believe it or not, Harry Potter helped me through my last break up as well. And I thought I was the only one haha. My best friend and I are currently planning a trip to the Magical World of Harry Potter as well. We're thinking maybe as a present to ourselves for our birthdays next May.

Aww, the three-headed dog curled up asleep is the cutest thing evar.

It's weird, I can't remember what's happening in that "j'accuse" flashback, and I used to be obsessed with HP. Hmmmm. Using j'accuse is always hilarious though. Oh yeah, it's Hagrid! Duh.

I am personally artgasming over the way you tied the background together.

Plus, the things like Dursley literally staring a dagger at Harry, and 'Snakey Talky' crack me up. Hell, it all cracks me up. How on earth will you manage some of the hardcore stuff?

I mean, in Lego Harry Potter when Cedric dies, he breaks into a piles of Lego pieces which, admittedly, had me laughing out loud. Plus, I'm going to be very sad when Dumbledore is no longer there to pat Harry on the head and say 'Good boy!'

Now I has a sad... or something.
