I'm leaving for this weekend's MoCCA fest tomorrow! I'll be at table F10, and I'll have lot's of books, prints, and custom watercolors and stuff. I'll also have prints of the HPosters, #s 1-5, because I just finished #5!|
MoCCA is one of my favorite conventions. I love hanging out with peeps all weekend, meeting awesome readers, and soaking up springtime in NYC.
I'm really excited for this year's Drink and Draw Like a Lady pre-MoCCA lady event! I'm helping to organize it again this year, and bringin' the booze.
And I get a whole week of extra NYC hangout time while I bum around on my Dad's couch, trying to get work done while resisting the lure of the city. Who wants to go to the Harry Potter exhibit with me?
Check out this awesome portrait of me done by Donovan Beeson, on her lovely Intangible Blog! There is some really beautiful stuff on there.
I think this is my favorite summary poster yet. "like mad nuts"
Aw yeah! Harry Potter, I am totally going to that!

Sorry for the dorky pun. I don't even read Lovecraft! But I do read HP, over and over. And you are the master of making book posters. Cramming all that HP goodness into one page seems impossible, but there it is! Magic. I can't wait till all 7 are done, then I'm going to get the set.
Totally headed to the HP exhibit! Possibly next Tuesday or Thursday. My birthday is next Friday and I'm going to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to look at plants and eat cupcakes. Possibly play pokemon. While dragging my dude around.
Even just seeing Sirius's death in the summary makes my eyes well up. Sirius, Noooo indeed.

NATO takes over command of military operations in Libya
NATO is taking over command of military operations in Libya from coalition forces, world media reported Sunday.
The UN Security Council imposed the no-fly zone over Libya on March 17, along with ordering "all necessary measures" to protect civilians from Muammar Gaddafi's attacks on rebel-held towns.
The 28 NATO ambassadors met on Sunday to decide on further military plans in Libya.
The United States transfers command for a no-fly zone over Libya to NATO, while coalition forces will continue to protect civilian population from attacks by Gaddafi forces.
The military operation in Libya, codenamed Odyssey Dawn, has been conducted so far jointly by 13 states, including the United States, Britain and France.
NATO members decided on Thursday to assume responsibility for the enforcement of a no-fly zone in Libya, but could not agree on taking full command of all military operations in the country.
Meanwhile, leaders of the 27 European Union states on Thursday issued a statement saying the EU stood ready to assist in building a new Libya "in cooperation with the United Nations, the Arab League, the African Union and others."

You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your blog.
