Kitties. So lovable. So stand-offish.
These look so, so good Lucy. Watercoloring hourlies was ambitious, to say the least, and you did such an excellent job.
Surely you are going to win. Last I voted, you had twice as many votes as anyone else and besides your entry was massively more awesome.
I love how the cat has taken on the internal critical voice... my cats are usually giving me non-critical messages like "take more naps" and "lie on the couch more while petting me".
Aw, these are really cute. I love them!
Ahhhhh, wonderful! And yay, Kraken! That makes for a badass ginger-pecan rum cake :9
This is why I don't have a cat. I don't want that cat judging me when I look at pictures of Benedict Cumberbatch.
These are gorgeous - probably my favourite hourly comics so far! Also, I hope you won the shoe contest!
I'm sure you won! Last I voted you were dominating it. You are very good at watercolours, and I am jealous.
First time commenting here... but I have been enjoying your work on this site since I read "French Milk" about a year ago. I love your style, your colors, your humor.
Anyway, nice set of hourly comics. "Reunited At Last" is a particularly fun panel.
Love these - turned out gorgeous! :D
Great read and fantastic colors!
always a pleasure to read your lovely posts :)
Gooooorgeous! Last panel especially! I also want to know your secret for hanging a million pictures in a rental situation, presumably a plaster walls situation. >:I
Thank you, thank you, thank you...for singing The Smiths in the shower and drinking Kraken.
*Try a Krak'n'Coke, it tastes like pumpkin pie.
What neighborhood do you live in? Are we neighbors?!
Haha possibly! I live in the west village.
panel 6.1 is totally me. all the time. also 9am.1 (he says with one cat on his lap, one curled up to his right, and the 3rd laying on the back of the couch).
You are rich with cats my friend.
These are beautiful coloured!
Fantastic coloring and shading!

This is one of the most beautiful hourly comics that I've EVER seen. EVER. And Kraken is soooo good (The octopus lable is amazing too) I'm glad you took the extra time to watercolour these. I don't think it's cheating when the result is so lovely!
Best of luck with the competition
When I voted for you yesterday you were miles ahead of everyone else...so fingers crossed!
These are awesome. And you've made me want a fancy sandwich.
There ain't no such thing as cheatin'! I finished my last two drawings today because I am PRO LIFE AWESOME STYLES. It's become a tradition. Mind you, I just go straight up pen, I don't have the sweet watercolour skills like you do. This is mad good, keep it up!
I love your comics so much. these ones are great!
ohoh oh and pillow boots? omg haha that sounds amazing!
not gonna lie.. i googled them, got nothing by the name
OMG! I was so excited to get my email that you'd updated! I freakin love your comics, thanks for taking the time to do these amazing watercolors. I have one of those mini helicopters, arent they awesome? Keep us posted about that shoe ad contest, wont you?
These hourly comics are beautiful. I love to see how people live their everyday lives. People are more alike than we think.
Let us know if you won, but I'm sure you did. I voted!
p.s. I feel ya on the stairs. 4 flights every day are brutal.
Oh man, this is a really gorgeous hourly comic! I love the way you do watercolors (I'm assuming its watercolor I am terrible at recognizing paint styles)
Also were you singing the Slow Moving Millie version of "Please Please Please", because if so then that makes me super excited!
I really hope you win the shoe ad contest, you deserve it!
(14 euro is way too much for a radler that is ridiculous)

I know those two! Andrew/Taylor...I met them at a mutual friend Bridget's 007 James Bond party. Andrew was wearing a wetsuit, needless to say he is hilarious, also Taylor was super sweet.
Just thought I'd mention how random it was to be reading your comic and then have it dawn on me that I knew them :) Nice work and congrats on the win!
Haha! That's hilarious! I loved those photos of Andrew in his 007 costume. Wetsuit on the bottom, tux on the top. Brillz.
New York is a crazy small world!
Wow, that's amazing, Lucy!!! :D
(Oops, sorry, that earlier anonymous comment was me!)
