cause i wasn't allowed to watch the Simpsons, but was free to eat junk food. I don't know which deprivation is worse. hehehe
my dad had very similar rules. I never got GI Joe and stuff like that, healthy lunches and all that. Especially the Flinstones Vitamins! Oh man so good.
that pic makes it look like you are on a set of a 90s Nick show too.
I didn't even have rules like that, my mom was a baker and there were cake bits *everywhere*. But once I snuck under the desk in the kitchen and ate half a bottle of orange flavored baby aspirin. And I didn't get sick either!
That show was soooo good!

10,000,000 Strong & Growing
I ate a whole bottle once too. Haa! I didn't get sick either.
Flinstones vitamins. Except I was about three, so it was a great endeavor, sneaking away from parents, opening the car, climbing into the back, going through cloth bags to find the vitamins, opening the child safety cap.... and I DID get sick. I vomited a huge rainbow colored vomit and passed out.
i had the same rules too, but i see you're wearing a simpson shirt. my mom would totally not allow that D:
My childhood home was under an Simpsons embargo, except for the episode where Homer goes to Capitol City to be the mascot, which my mom taped.
Okay, judging by that comic, we were television watching twins. One of my best friends and I still make Rocko's Modern Life jokes, and I still watch Pee Wee's Playhouse on DVD. Mostly while drawing/painting. It helps. Maybe that's why my stuff is so odd?
We had all the same rules at my house! D:
And: how in the world were you given a Bart Simpson t-shirt when you were not supposed to be watching TV? That seems so odd! (IE: The only character clothing I had was Mickey Mouse and Tweety Bird.)
My mom also didn't let us have violent toys, more specifically toy guns. One time my brother chewed a slice of cheese into the shape of a gun. Congrats on being a MASTER!
My kid recently ate an entire bottle of gummy bear vitamins. The funniest thing for me was her utter horror and dismay and inability to explain when I discovered it. Little kid brains kill me.
Wow. My childhood was your childhood.
When I went to college instead of freaking out and getting drunk all the time I ate sugared cereal and drank soda as my way to rebellion! Take that!
This is my favorite comic yet. Just love it for some reason hahaha. I guess it's cause everyone can probably relate on some level. Awesome awesome. So funny and cute.
Oh fuck yeah, Rocko's Modern Life. That was an amazing show.
